RISING TIDE
( Words and Music: Ronnie Atkins )

Mother Earth
We’ve plundered your resources now we can’t reverse cause time’s running
out and We’re vulnerable All this beauty we were given it’s unforgivable The evidence
towering up

While all we hold so dear is fading round the bend
 We’re sliding further down the
path of punishment

A rising tide will flood the world
Rapid fires scorch the earth Heat increasing
boiling seas Holy mother misery We saw but little did we learn The tipping point
of no return World condition volatile This is the culture of denial

Sacrilege
It’s human caused Mankind balancing the edge of the abyss And ignorance
The threat is real It’s obvious it’s imminent No signs of remission

We’ve had enough of all those planetary lies
It’s time to face the facts and open
up our eyes

Chorus

While all we hold so dear is fading round the bend
 We’re sliding further down the
path of punishment

Chorus
